Having firmly re-established themselves in 2014 with their new line up and live shows with the likes of Rise To Remain, Ageless Oblivion and Voices, Chapters are set to undertake their biggest UK tour in several years next month.
On Friday night, after days of Internet speculation regarding the future of Alt Fest 2014, and many artists, including two of the headliners (Marilyn Manson and Fields Of The Nephilim) stating that the event was cancelled, the organisers of Alt Fest issued a very detailed statement confirming the worst.
Despite being a band for over a decade, Malefice have yet to truly make a name for themselves in mainstream British metal. But in their unimaginatively-titled fifth release, er, ‘Five’, the band seem to have finally hit the nail on the head in terms of finding their sound.

Malefice, the UK powerhouse have been confirmed as being the final act on the Friday of the Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire this year.
Tonight’s show was scheduled to be a full day of music, a one day festival for some top and unsigned British Metal bands. However, for reasons unknown to me, the festival was cut down to just four bands and labelled the ‘Replacement Gig.’ At least the show is still going ahead!
