Australian anthemic rockers Airbourne are gearing up for a huge 2013, having just announced their 3rd Album, called "Black Dog Barking" with be released through Roadrunner Records on 20th May. With top producer Brian Howes (Skillet, Puddle of Mudd, Nickelback *cough*), Airbourne are set to release another great set of tracks for real people who like real rock n roll.

Eighteen months in the making, "Black Dog Barking" is expected to be a great follow up to the 2010 "No Guts No Glory" album that really cemented the band in the anuls of rock history, with their music being used everywhere from TV shows to video games, and most excitingly being used as the promotional soundtrack for the largest, fastest looping roller coaster in the world- Full Throttle in Australia.

The band had this to say about the new release:

A lot of thought and effort has gone into this record, not only by the band, but by the production crew who worked countless hours, seven days a week, even through Christmas and New Year’s Eve to achieve the best possible performances, backed by real undying tones.  Now we're handing it over to you... so crank it up, crack a beer, and stick some rock 'n' roll in your ear!

We'll bring you more news about Airbourne and Black Dog Barking as soon as we have it, they are also set to play at the Download festival this year - so multiple reasons to get yer knickers in a twist!

For the minute, keep yerself in the mood for some stadium anthems with this little taster of the Airbourne way of rock!

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
