Long time Anthrax guitarist Rob Caggiano recently departed the band after many years and the band have found a high quality temporary replacement for the interim until they can go about getting a new full time six string player. For the bands previously announced shows in India, Australia and North America, Shadows Fall guitarist Jon Donais will be an honourary member of Anthrax joining Scott Ian on shredding duties, so they'll be in very capable hands.

Anthrax are next due in the UK in a "special guest" slot under their Big Four colleagues Slayer on the last day of the Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2013 in Derbyshire this August. Further updates from Anthrax as well as general thrash metal news can be found here on a regular basis.

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
