Avenged Sevenfold to Hit UK Arenas In Late 2013

In one of the biggest tour announcements so far in the world of rock and metal in 2013, Avenged Sevenfold have let the world know they will be hitting the UK roads in November and December of this year with three show at arenas around the country.

This will be the first time since the bands 2011 slot at Download.

Lead Singer M Shadows said:

It’s been far too long since we’ve played for our friends in the United Kingdom. We’ve been itching to get back since our last appearance at Download in 2011. We are putting the finishing touches on a new album, and can't wait to share the new songs with you in concert

In an unusual and novel way, the band announced their tour by giving fans a clue on the website seventhlair.com and urging the fans to follow the clue which lead them to decend on London's Wembley Arena where the tour Poster was waiting for them.

The Dates are:

  • November 30 - Manchester Arena
  • December 1 - Wembley Arena, London
  • December 5 - LG Arena, Birmingham

Tickets for the show go on sale at www.livenation.co.uk and www.ticketmaster.co.uk on Friday 17th May 9am and are priced at £28.50 (Subject to the usual Fees). To get you in the mood, please enjoy the video for Avenged Sevenfold's most recent single "Carry On" below:

Paul always wanted to be a rock star but his fingers were to short to play guitar and he couldn't get his hands and feet quite coordinated enough to be a drummer. No one wanted to hear him sing so now he writes about things he only wishes he could do.
