Black Sabbath Birmingham Show A Triumphant Return

In the run up to their headline slot at Download this year, among the ups & downs, twists & turns of the industry - Black Sabbath went home (minus Bill, plus Tommy Clufetos) to Birmingham to herald their arrival in the homeland.

Reviews and reports have been flying around shouting just how great this gig was, the lucky crowd that got to be there in person have experienced a taste of history that probably won't be repeated in a venue of that size... ever.  Looking forward to the Download show, expect to forget the world for a couple of hours while you travel the Sabbath bus as your led through all the classics - and remember that Sabbath have been feverishly writing and recording new material... could they reveal some new stuff?

Enjoy this fan video of War Pigs from the show, we have been assured that Ozzy had not been waterboarded, and a great moment is seeing Tommi's face light up (with obvious pleasure) when the fans carry the verses.

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
