They divide opinion like almost no other metal band out there but fans of Bring Me The Horizon (and maybe their detractors too) will be interested in this one. UK rock and metal fans got a huge treat last week as BBC Radio One's resident heavy metal DJ Mr Dan Carter was allowed to take over the airwaves for three hours an afternoon for three days, rather than his usual Midnight Monday timeslot.
Whilst this may have upset some of the less enlightened in the UK, the response from the British rock & metal fans was almost universally one of euphoria (good music being played on daytime national radio, huzzah!). One of Dan Carter's exclusives over those three days was the first play of the brand new Bring Me The Horizon song, Shadow Moses. Shadow Moses is the first song to surface from Bring Me The Horizon's forthcoming new album, Sempiternal. It's quite different from a lot of their previous efforts and you can definitely hear the "Djenty" jangle in some of the riff work. If you haven't heard it (or if you want to hear it again), please check it out below:
Sempiternal will be Bring Me The Horizon's first album for their new record label RCA. A release date is yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned for the latest from Oli Sykes and the rest of the BMTH camp.
