Cannibal Corpse To Join Bolt Thrower & Co at Damnation Festival 2014

Every year, Damnation Festival in Leeds compiles a line up of the great and the good from the metal underground with a few more well known bands from the various more extreme metal sub-genres to top the bill. This year is no exception, with Damnation securing an almighty UK festival exclusive from British metal legends Bolt Thrower, playing their only UK show of 2014 at Damnation. Alongside Bolt Thrower, Damnation also has the return of British metal act Raging Speedhorn, and the 35th anniversary performance from American doom metal maestros Saint Vitus. Now one more very well known band has joined the party.
Lords of extreme death metal and grindcore for over two decades, Cannibal Corpse are proud to be making their Damnation Festival debut in 2014. The band are very excited about the prospect of playing one of the UK's finest small festivals, as you can hear directly from Cannibal Corpse themselves:
“We’ve been hearing about the Damnation festival from our fans for a while now, so we’re really excited we’re going to get the chance to play it this year. It’s clearly a killer festival and we’re stoked to be a part of it. See you all this fall!”
Cannibal Corpse will be headlining the Terrorizer Magazine stage at Damnation's 10th anniversary edition which takes place as always at Leeds University. Many more bands will be added to join these four great acts in the weeks and months to come. Tickets are on sale costing £36 from the official festival website Further additions to the Damnation line up will be reported here at Scribes Of Metal when we receive more news. In the meantime, enjoy a Cannibal Corpse classic just underneath the festival poster!
