dirt Unveil New Video Ahead Of Camden Rocks Appearance

Fast gaining traction, UK alt-rockers dirt have unveiled a video for their new single Insomnia, which gained its premiere on Punktastic and played on Team Rock Radio's Breaking Bands show earlier this week.

Having only been a complete band for a fraction of a heartbeat, 2015 has already seen them win a slot at Takedown Festival by snagging runner-up in the unsigned band competition. Reports from Takedown are all pretty much resounding the call that these are a band to watch.

Speaking of the new track 'Insomnia', Alistair Keenan (Vocalist) says:

We are super excited to finally share our new track ‘Insomnia’ with the world. It’s been a short while since we have released new music and we are all excited to hear what people think of our new direction. ‘Insomnia’ is a song that really hits home hard for us as a band, a few of us struggle with anxiety and this track tries to address the day to day struggle of sleeping whilst still going over the day’s events, and the doubts that people have about their past actions.”

“The video is compiled of clips from our first show at the 02 Academy in Islington as well as a couple others from our first tour so this video is always going to mean something to us as the place where this all started out. It’s great to showcase our live energy too and we hope that this video will inspire some new fans to come down to a live show and join in the party!

Without further ado, here's the video for Insomnia:

If you're heading to Camden Rocks Festival, check these guys out! They are performing at the Purple Turtle at 12pm on Saturday 20th May.

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
