Graveyard To Support Support Soundgarden On The Road

Swedish Psychedelic Blues Rockers Graveyard have been chosen as support for Soundgarden on there September UK and Ireland tour dates.

Graveyard had this to say about their latest trip out on the road:

We've been pretty f**king fortunate with the bands we've had the honour to open for. It's like taking a walk through our record collections, or just through rock history. When you list some of them, it comes off as pretty unreal - Iron Maiden, Deep Purple and Motörhead. And now - Soundgarden! Not so super unknown guys these days. And with the words of a Californian rock dude: Pretty f**king bad ass musicians that can deliver a bunch of face melting jams and shred like there's no tomorrow!

There isn't really much more to say than that. Of course we're super excited to head out on tour with Soundgarden. In a way it's quite logical. If you think about what the roots of their and our music are. We certainly got one or two things in common there, so hopefully people will see it as good match making?

The tour dates are:

  • 13th September - Manchester Apollo UK
  • 14th September - Birmingham Academy UK
  • 16th September - Dublin O2 Academy IRL
  • 18th September - London Brixton Academy
  • 19th September - London Brixton Academy

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
