Guns N' Roses Return To UK For May 2012 Arena Tour

As far as rock tour news goes, it doesn't tend to get too much bigger than this, even if the band is rather questionable these days; Guns N' Roses, featuring infamous frontman Axl Rose and an array of assorted musicians including Dizzy Reed and Bumblefoot, have announced a full UK arena tour for May 2012. The tour will be Guns N' Roses first appearances in the UK since their questionable headline slots at the Leeds & Reading Festivals in 2010, where the band turned up an hour late for their Reading slot and were cut off due to the festival curfew, leading Axl Rose to sing Paradise City through a megaphone.

GnR's 2012 UK tour will kick off on the 19th of May in Nottingham and finish up at London's O2 Arena on the 31st of May, taking in seven shows in total. The full list of shows is below:

Known for being somewhat unreliable in terms of timekeeping and temperament when it comes to live shows, especially in recent years, our advice to you would be either book a hotel for these shows or go by car, because if you have a last train to catch you could end up getting stuck.

Guns N' Roses have recently been nominated for induction into the rock n' roll hall of fame. Whether the original lineup would reunite, even for a joint appearance (never mind performance) is the subject of considerable speculation, as far as that is concerned, watch this space.
