I AM I To Release New Single, "Event Horizon" Album To Get Worldwide Release in December 2012

For those who like their metal epic and with big vocals, a piece of power metal news for a Friday afternoon here at Scribes; I AM I, the British power metal band featuring former Dragonforce vocalist VP Theart, are set to release a brand new single early next month. The song is a cover of John Farnham's classic 80's track 'You're The Voice' (for which you can check out the original below on Youtube). The release of the single is going to be handled by well known metal distributors Plastichead. The song has proved a hit at I AM I's recent live shows and so the decision was taken to release the song as a brand new single. First time around the song hit the top 10 across most of Europe in 1986.

Following on from the European release of I AM I's debut album Event Horizon earlier this year, the album is now going to be digitally released worldwide on the same day as the new single (December 10th 2012). The album will now be available worldwide and available to Download from all the usual suspects including iTunes, Amazon, Play.com and streaming services such as Spotify and Pandora.

I AM I have recently been confirmed to support two legends of the rock world on upcoming tours, Ugly Kid Joe and Skid Row. We wrote about that in another post and you can read the full tour details here. Further news from the I AM I camp will be reported here as it becomes available.
