In the latest metal festival news and yet another update from the awesome Metalcamp festival in Slovenia, this is possibly their biggest news so far. The organisers have just announced that Nu-Metal legends KoRn are to be the headliners of this years edition of Metalcamp. One of the biggest bands of any sub genre of metal ever since they burst onto the scene nearly two decades ago, KoRn have recently reinvented themselves yet again with their most recent album The Path Of Totality, fusing dubstep and electro elements into their trademark heavy sound with a large amount of popular and critical acclaim for their efforts.
Not content with just the addition of their headliners, Metalcamp have also announced another nine bands. Steelwing are increasingly making large waves in the metal world so Metalcamp is the perfect place for them to continue their rise to prominence, while Greek death metal experts Septic Flesh are also on board to bring their destructive brand of metal to the beach. The other new bands are Milking The Goatmachine, Heidevolk, Noctiferia, Warbringer, Nexus Inferis, Ava Inferi and MetalSteel.
KoRn and the other new additions join an already very impressive lineup at Metalcamp Slovenia including Machine Head, Testament, Amon Amarth, Epica, Nile, Grand Magus, Sabaton and many more. Tickets are on sale at www.hardticket.eu.
