Lamb Of God Stream New Track, Still Echoes From New Album & Announce New Label

When one of the most popular bands on the planet announce new material, it's hard to not notice. Lamb Of God are that band and notice we have. Announcing their 7th studio album 'VII: Strum Und Drang', due to release in July this year, the band have been unveiling a series of teasers and interviews with fans, the band are now streaming a brand new track from the album called 'Still Echoes'. You can check out the new song at their recently launched website right now.

Frontman Randy Blythe says of the track:

The time has come to give the fans their first taste of the new Lamb of God album. This is a very, very dark, yet sonically highly varied, record. As it's always good to come out of the gate hard with a fast and aggressive one; we chose this track ‘Still Echoes’ to kick it off. Enjoy/destroy.

As if that's not enough Lamb Of God news to keep any fan happy, they have also just signed with label giant Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The band have been working with Nuclear Blast in North America for some time, but this new deal will see a much greater exposure worldwide.

Chris Adler (drummer) explains:

Finally joining forces with Nuclear Blast outside of North America is something Lamb of God is excited to see happen. We first met back in 1997 - almost signed then, but have been flirting ever since!  It's now time for a new chapter for us in connecting with our friends and fans overseas, which is long overdue!  See you all very soon - with a nasty new album!

VII: Strum Und Drang (trans: storm and stress) will be the first Lamb Of God material to get worldwide exposure from a single label, Markus Staiger, NB owner and founder enthuses:

What an honour to work with Lamb Of God. I’ve always been a big fan of their music and we now get to work with them on their new crushing album!

And to round off the Lamb Of God goodness, let's not forget they are playing Download Festival on June 14th before touring with the mighty Slipknot throughout the US over the summer. Randy Blythes autobiographical book "Dark Days: A Memoir" is also hitting shelves on July 14th. All in all, you will be seeing and hearing a hell of a lot about Lamb of God in 2015!

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
