Malefice, the UK powerhouse have been confirmed as being the final act on the Friday of the Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire this year. Opening the Ronnie James Dio stage on Friday 10th August, the reading quartet are ready to once again grace a UK festival stage after some serious intensive touring with some of the biggest names in metal.
'We're really proud to be called up for Bloodstock duty this year, and even more proud to be opening up the main stage for the festival.’ Says frontman Dale Butler. ‘Everyone who's seen us live before knows we like to tear it up, so make sure you get up early and join us to kick off one of the biggest weekends of the Metal calendar in style! '
Malefice appear to be a band that tours non-stop, and in recent years they've played with some of the heavy weights of metal, and their Bloodstick appearance is no different. A small selection of the bands gracing the stage on the Friday include Grand Magus, Sepultura and Behemoth!
