Mastodon Outdo Miley Cyrus On The Twerk-O-Meter with The Motherload Music Video

Atlanta's finest Mastodon are very much known for their prog metal brilliance over the last decade. What is not always apparent is the band's rather excellent sense of fun and humour. However there's absolutely no hiding the fact that Mastodon like to have a good time with their brand new music video for the epic song The Motherload from their recently released (and most successful so far) album Once More 'Round The Sun.

Ever thought you'd see Mastodon outdo pop princess Miley Cyrus? No we didn't either. But that's exactly what they've done here - even if they've brought in some rather "interesting" help to do the job rather than shake it themselves. You can enjoy the video for The Motherload in all it's glory at the bottom of this post.

Mastodon will be back in the UK at the end of the year on one of their most extensive tours so far with ten dates spread across the full length of the UK and Ireland (unless you're in Wales, in which case you need to get down to Bristol, across to Birmingham or up to Manchester).
