One of Europe's festivals that has grown rapidly in popularity over the last few years is the Metalcamp Festival that takes place in Slovenia in early August. The already formidable line-up had bands such as Amon Amarth, Sabaton and headliners Machine Head on the bill and now Metalcamp have pulled out even more stops to add some more great bands to the lineup.
German power metal band Edguy, Swedish power metal favourites Grand Magus and American hardcore punks Madball are the latest three additions to the festival bill. A couple of days prior to that announcement three huge metal heavyweights of their respective sub-genres took their places on the Metalcamp lineup - US thrash legends Testament, Symphonic Dutch superstars Epica and Death Metal masters Nile. The current full lineup can be seen on the poster below:
As stated on the poster, tickets are only 99 euros for a three day ticket for 129 euros for the full week ticket. For anyone who feels like headed to mainland Europe for some quality metal and to catch some rays all in the same week, this could be a great opportunity. Tickets are available via www.hardticket.eu
