Neurosis & Godflesh To Play Special London One Off Show in December 2012

This is a piece of post metal news that will literally make some jaws hit the floor; Neurosis and Godflesh. Say the names together and many will instantly recognise two of the biggest legends of the more ambient and drone based aspects of metal. In the stuff some people's dreams are made of, the two bands will be appearing for one night under the same roof together on a (probably) cold London night in early December 2012. The two bands will team up for a one off show at Kentish Town's Forum venue on the 2nd of December 2012. Neurosis will be headlining the event with Godflesh appearing as their special guests.

This show will see Neurosis promoting their brand new album Honor Found In Decay. Apart from their forthcoming at the ATP Nightmare Before Christmas Event, which takes place a day or two beforehand (ATP Nightmare Before Christmas takes place November 30th - December 2nd), this London show will be Neurosis's only appearance in the UK in support of their new album, so this could be the last time the band appear in the UK for a good while. Couple this with the fact that a lot of people have waited to see Godflesh and Neurosis on the same bill for a long time, tickets for this one are sure to fly quickly.

Information about ticket onsale date(s) is not yet confirmed, this post will be updated as soon as we have that information.

Tickets will be available from Gigantic, going on sale at 10am - 5th September 2012.

Neurosis' brand new album Honor Found In Decay is released in the UK on October 29th and in America on October 30th through Neurosis' own label Neurot Recordings. Any further updates about this show or from Neurosis and Godflesh will be available here in the days and weeks to come.
