Nothing More To Release Debut Album On June 23rd 2014 and Reveal Video For 'This Is The Time (Ballast)'

A new band to us here at Scribes Of Metal HQ to tell our readers about, rising Texan Alternative Rockers Nothing More are set to release their self-titled debut album on June 23rd.

Described as part Mars Volta-esque prog freak out, part schizoid System of a Down weird-isms and part effortless pop nous, Nothing More recently released their debut single ‘This Is The Time (Ballast)’ which is already making inroads in the USA on Active Rock Radio.

The band has just signed a deal with Allen Kovac’s Eleven Seven Music Group. Kovac commented that:

Every 10 years or so there is a band that sonically and lyrically shakes things up and cuts through the clutter. For true rock fans that moment has arrived with Nothing More.”

Word has it that these guys are absolute animals in the live arena incorporating four-way drum battles and three members playing one bass guitar! Sounds exciting! Catch Nothing More at this year’s Download Festival on Saturday 14th June on the Red Bull Studio Stage! Check out the video for This Is The Time (Ballast) below:

Wannabe Shredder who can't yet "sweep like a janitor" and lover of most things Rock/Metal - especially if band members have "snazzy" coats/jackets or waistcoats! Used to race motorbikes with no brakes (!), now spend most of my time dodging crowdsurfers on the barrier and trying not to get killed in mosh pits. Luca Turilli is my guitar hero.
