Reckless Love Announce New Mini Album Ahead Of UK Tour, Mallory Knox Added As Support

Swedish rockers Reckless Love are headed to the UK in just a few weeks, and they'll be here for quite a long time as their UK tour lasts a full three weeks. During those three weeks, Reckless Love will be appearing all over the UK, as well as appearing at the Barfly in Camden every Thursday that they are here as they've scheduled a Thursday night residency at one of London's most intimate venues for the duration of their stay. The tour contains eighteen shows, and is bookended by two of the four appearances in London.

Newly announced for the tour are the UK's own Mallory Knox. Mallory Knox will be appearing on all dates of the tour EXCEPT the shows in London at the Barfly, which will have different special guests each week who are still to be confirmed. The full tour dates are listed further down this page.

To get their fans warmed up for the incoming tour, Reckless Love are releasing the "Born To Break Your Heart" mini album. Focused around the single of the same name, the Born To Break Your Heart mini album includes a couple of exclusive acoustic renditions of existing songs as well as some live recordings as well as a new song recording during the sessions for the band's "Animal Attraction" album that wasn't put on the album.

Reckless Love's singer Olli Herman has been discussing the decision making process for the band to put out something a bit more substantial than just a standard single release:

“We are all so excited about this release. As old school ’80s metal fans, we wanted to put together something we were dying to get from our own idols, in the fashion of G n’ R Lies (which was like a gift from heaven for us as kids); a sort of bonus item designed to reveal more of the whole band and its foundations. So, instead of just releasing ‘Born To Break Your Heart’ as a straight single, we’ve thrown in some kickass live tracks, plus a couple of badass acoustic cuts and more, to give a special treat to our fans. To top it all off, we’ve got a great new mix of the title track by the legendary Tim Palmer himself…”

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
