Slayer Return To Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2016 As Final Headliners

It was only a matter of time before Bloodstock Open Air confirmed who would be their final headliners for next years festival, and now we know. The mighty Slayer (or Sllllllaaaaaayyyyeeeerrrr if you prefer) will close Bloodstock Open Air for the second time. Having previously headlined in 2013, they will return to headline the Sunday night at BOA 2016.
If recent reports from their just completed UK tour are anything to go by, they've been on their best form since the Big Four shows in 2011, so if they keep that up Bloodstock is guaranteed one spectacular conclusion next year. Their new album Repentless has also been gaining rave reviews so it would seem that despite some tough times in the last few years, Slayer are once again rejuvenated and here to stay! Slayer join Twisted Sister (in their final ever UK performance) and Mastodon (headlining their first UK festival) as headliners of Bloodstock Open Air 2016. Also currently on the bill are special guests Behemoth, Gojira and Anthrax, along with Paradise Lost, Rotting Christ, Dragonforce and Venom, with many many due to join them!
Tickets for Bloodstock 2016 can still be obtained at the early bird price of £120 plus fees from the official website More news from the Bloodstock Festival team as soon as we receive it.
