The Blackout, Hawk Eyes & More Complete Line Up For 2015 Takedown Festival

Festival announcements are coming thick and fast since Christmas, and the team at Takedown Festival are no exception to that. They've announced a final set of acts to complete their 2015 line up. With Takedown being the first major UK festival of the year, they have a reputation for wanting to "bring the party". Who better to do that than former Takedown headliners The Blackout, who will make Takedown 2015 part of the band's farewell tour.
Also on board for Takedown 2015 are Leeds racuous rockers Hawk Eyes. With a burgeoning reputation for brilliant live shows, few people will be standing still when Hawk Eyes hit the Takedown stage. Melodic hardcore act Blood Youth (who readers may know by their former band name Climates) will also be performing at this years' Takedown, as well Dee Christopher. Dee is an alternative magician who will be performing on the Obsidian Stage courtesy of the stages curators Fearless Vampire Killers. London electro rockers More Than Most have also been successful in the "Your Band Here" contest after winning out against tough competition.
These five acts join headliners Mallory Knox alongside Charlie Simpson, Heart Of A Coward, Bleed From Within, InMe, Baby Godzilla, Arcane Roots, Rolo Tomassi, Fearless Vampire Killers, Zoax, AllUsOnDrugs, AshesToAngels and many many more performing at Takedown Festival 2015. Tickets can be obtained from the official website including ticket bundles for the official Uprawr Takedown after party.
Takedown Festival takes place at Southampton University on the 7th of March 2015. Scribes will have a full preview of Takedown up in the coming days as we start the ten day countdown to the event, so keep checking back for that. In the mean time, get those tickets bought!

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
