We are very happy to bring our readers a double dose of news from Australian art rockers The Red Paintings as we head towards the weekend here at Scribes.
First of all we would encourage everyone to watch the mesmerising new video for the band's latest single, It Is As It Was, which showcases just what The Red Paintings are all about, both in terms of a powerful musical band and a creative entity. You can view the video at the bottom of this post.
Secondly, led by their creative director and frontman Trash McSweeney and violinist Alix Kol, The Red Paintings will be coming to various locations across the UK in Mid-November with a brand new tour. The trek kicks off in Stoke on the 5th of November and runs for eleven days, playing a grand total of ten shows (with a day off in the middle). Full details of the tour can be found below:
