We Are The Ocean - 'Holy Fire' Video

We Are The Ocean have released a new music video for their track 'Holy Fire' from their album 'Ark'. Holy Fire, which is due to be released on 1st June, was named Radio 1's Record Of the Day last Sunday and enjoys support from Fearne Cotton, Annie Mac and Hue Stephens to name a few.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the lyrics and the scenery compliment one another so well to make this a great video to watch and listen to. The video features Liam, Alfie, Jack and Tom wearing gas masks and is a tale of survival. Liam explains the thinking behind the video...

“Holy Fire came about towards the end of our two months in the studio, recording the album last summer. Inspired by the film ‘Into The Wild’ we felt like we were about to embark on our own exciting journey. I love the way the strings weave around the lyrics. They make the song really epic”.

The boys are finishing their UK tour at The Electric Ballroom tonight and then join a massive line-up for Slam Dunk festival this weekend. Later this year the band are also set to play Reading and Leeds festival in August.
