Some news regarding some brand new music in the run up to Christmas; Detroit metalcore band We Came As Romans have got their acts together to release their first new song in over a year and as a result, they have unleashed the new track entitled "Let These Words Last Forever" (interesting title when some people think the world is going to end tomorrow!). The new single is available for purchase via iTunes (buy it here), but not being content with just releasing the single, We Came As Romans have put a lyric video together for the song, which you can watch at the bottom of this post! When asked if the band had anything they'd like to say about their new single, We Came As Romans' guitarist Joshua Moore was happy to provide a response:
"We are really excited to be releasing new, original music for the first time in over a year, and we thought the best way to do this was to release a song that combines the best elements of To 'Plant A Seed' and 'Understanding What We've Grown To Be'. 'Let These Words Last Forever', along with two more new songs we will be releasing, shows the direction we are headed in for our next album. We're striving for the best combination of progression and staying true to our original roots."The song was recorded in conjunction with famous metal producer Machine who has worked with Lamb of God amongst many others and mixed and mastered by John Feldmann, who's worked with The Used and Panic At The Disco amongst others. We Came As Romans are currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records.
