Wednesday 13 Announce Halloween Extravaganza and New EP

Wednesday 13 and his band of misfits are returning to the UK for an extra special Halloween show at the Koko in London. Promising to have a show to remember, Wednesday 13 said in a recent interview:

I’m beyond excited to be playing Halloween night in London this year! We had the honour of playing Halloween in London back in ‘08, and the time has come to bring our spook show back to one of our favourite places to play. We have something super special planned for this show, one night only, Halloween costumes and all. Be sure to come out! Here we come UK....Spook and Destroy!!

The band are looking for as many people as possible to join in the spooky occasion by dressing up in their most spooktacular gear for the show, so if you want to be first in line dressed as a zombie or vampire - get over to now and snag some tickets before they're all gone.  Support for the show is by the "Fearless Vampire Killers", so it's double the fun at the Koko on Halloween.

A Euporean tour is booked throughout November following the Koko Halloween show, although there is no word of further UK gigs as yet.

If you're not familiar with Wednesday 13, he's better known as the frontman for the Murderdolls and has a love of the arcane and crazy spooky shows such as the Munsters and the Addams Family (which is where he took his stage name from of course!).

That's not the end of the Wednesday 13 news though, to set the tone for the European tour, they are releasing a new 8 Track EP call "Spook and Destroy" on October 9th in the UK through Cargo Records.

Featuring two new studio tracks; 'M.F.T.W' and 'Halloween 13-13', two remixes, an acoustic studio track, and three live favourites re-recorded.

Track listing:

Halloween 13-13
Bad Things (2012 re-recording)
Rambo (2012 re-recording)
Mr Motherfucker (2012 re-recording)
Curse Of Me (studio acoustic)
Bad Things (Suffocation Celebration remix)
Rambo (Bullets & Bloodshed remix)

There is also (yes more!) a brand new studio album set for release in the Spring of 2013, so you can expect to see/hear/experience quite a bit from Wednesday 13 in the near future!

Let's finish off with some music from both Wednesday 13 & Fearless Vampire Killers:

Nik works in music PR, he wanted to be famous but genetics determined a managerial route instead. He put his energy into working out how to design stuff, build web stuff and string a decent series of words together. He is a big fan of original and unique sounding bands, loving a good melody and anthem - although he has been known to listen to 90s glam rock in private.
