Western Sand Announced as UK Support for Black Star Riders

Up and Coming UK rockers Western Sand have been announced as opening support for Black Star Riders 18 date UK/Ireland tour later this year.

We reviewed the bands self-titled 4 track Ep recently, and we can see that these guys are going to go down well with the BSR audience.

Western Sand have been together since 2008 and have supported bands like Nazareth, Reckless Love, and Voodoo Six in the past so playing with larger bands is no new thing to them, but this tour could put them on the nationwide map.

Frontman/Guitarist Tyler Hains had this to say:

We're nervous, excited but more than anything absolutely stoked to be a part of such a prestigious tour. To be sharing the stage with some of the finest musicians in the business is a real honour and we can't wait for the tour to kick off

Paul always wanted to be a rock star but his fingers were to short to play guitar and he couldn't get his hands and feet quite coordinated enough to be a drummer. No one wanted to hear him sing so now he writes about things he only wishes he could do.
